    2. Bài nói tham khảo

I'd like to talk about my university roommate, Duc Manh, who's definitely one of the most opinionated people I know. We met three years ago when we were assigned to share a dorm room in our first year at university.

From day one, it was clear that Duc Manh had strong views on just about everything. Whether it was politics, music, or even the best way to organize our tiny dorm room, he always had a firm stance. I remember our first conversation about climate change - what I thought would be a casual chat turned into a passionate hour-long debate!

I think Duc Manh is such an opinionated person for a few reasons. Firstly, he's incredibly well-read and always stays up-to-date with current affairs. He devours news articles and books on various topics, which fuels his confidence in discussions. Secondly, he comes from a family of lawyers, so I suspect that debating and arguing points is somewhat in his blood. Lastly, I believe he genuinely cares about making the world better, which drives him to form and express strong opinions on important issues.

As for how I feel about Duc Manh, it's a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, I admire his passion and how well-informed he is. Our conversations are never boring, and he's challenged me to think more critically about my own views. On the other hand, his strong opinions can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when you just want to have a relaxed chat. There have been times when I've felt a bit exhausted trying to keep up with his intensity.

Despite the occasional frustration, I generally enjoy Duc Manh's company. He's taught me the value of standing up for what you believe in and the importance of being well-informed. While I may not always agree with him, I respect his dedication to his beliefs and his ability to articulate them so passionately.

    IELTS Speaking part 3

    1. What aspects do young people have strong opinions about?

Young people often have strong opinions about issues related to social justice, such as climate change, equality, and human rights. They are also quite vocal about technology, like the impact of social media on society, and they tend to be very passionate about their personal freedom and identity. This generation is more aware of global issues, and they actively express their views, especially on platforms like social media.

    2. What aspects do old people have strong opinions about?

Older people usually have strong opinions about traditional values and societal norms. They might be more focused on issues like family, morality, and the importance of education. Many older individuals also have clear views on political matters, often shaped by their experiences over the years. Additionally, they tend to emphasize the importance of health and well-being, especially as they age.

    3. Are children’s opinions influenced by their parents?

Yes, definitely. Children’s opinions are heavily influenced by their parents because they look up to them as role models. From a young age, children observe their parents’ behavior, listen to their conversations, and often adopt their viewpoints. For instance, if parents have strong beliefs about certain social or cultural issues, it’s likely that their children will develop similar opinions. However, as children grow older and gain more exposure to different perspectives, they might start forming their own independent views.
